Skin Protecting Awesomeness

I le down south in Alabama and it can be horribly hot. With heat comes the sun with the sun comes harmful rays that damage your skin or worse causes skin cancer. For that reason I am always long for a good sunscreen. Most can be SPF 50 but can come off easily in the pool or rain. What good is it to have a SPF of 50+ that washes off?

 Even in October we tend to spend most of our weekends by the pool. (Yes it still gets to be 90 degrees out side!) With children at any age we are always trying to keep them out of the sun or lather them up in sunscreen. I always try to sick with a sunscreen with SPF 25 or higher.

Cellulite Defense

  As I start to get a bit older I seen some signs of cellulite sneaking up on my thighs and the backs of my arms.  I have used two different solutions for cellulite and this one seems to work the best. I have been using is for 2 and a half weeks not and can feel and see the difference.


  Body Merry has a Cellulite Defense Gel-Cream that works amazingly! When you open the 4oz jar you can smell the menthol. It reminds me of Vicks. It is a crème color that is some what think. You are to rub the cream into your problem areas in circular motions until it is absorbed into your skin. You will feel a slight "burning" sensation. It lets me know the cream is working. I happen to like the feeling.



  After 2 and a half weeks I have noticed smoother firmer skin. My skin looks so much healthier. I feel so much more confident when wearing skirts, shorts and dresses and not to mention tank tops.

InstaNatural Deep Cleansing Facial Oil Review

As you all know by now InstaNatural Products have become the products I turn to first. I have never had an issue with any of the products and have never been let down by the company. They stand behind their products because they truly are the best out their.

With that said I am sad to say I have found one product out of the many that is just not for me. But that isn't to say it may be right for you. So let me tell you a bit about it.

This is a Deep Cleansing Facial oil. I thought it was a lathering cleanser but it is not. It is more of a makeup removing cleanser. The cleanser is made up of 90% oil. Including Organic Jajoba oil, Olive Oil, Lavender essential Oil and many more.

I did apply this to my face and it removed all of my makeup including my waterproof eye liner and my waterproof mascara. However I did not like that it left my face feeling oily. It was not excessive but it was not a feeling I liked.

I have been using it to clean my makeup brushes. Which it works amazingly. After I use the InstaNaturals Cleansing oil to clean my brushes I use a mild soap and it comes super clean! You can also use this for extra moisture on your feet or knees. Wherever you have dry skin.

In conclusion I still love InstaNaturals and adore their products. I will continue to support their company and use their product just not this one.

Adovia Mosturizing Day Cream Review

I was recently sent Adovia Moisturizing Day Cream to test and review. I was excited to open the package when it arrived. As I have tested other Adovia products in the past and loved them! But to my surprise when I opened the glass jar 65% of the product was missing. Which made me a bit disappointed. As you can see from the pictures below most of the jar was empty.

I do feel this was a "factory" mishap and wasn't done on purpose. I have never had an issue with the company and or their products before and this in no way changes my positive view on the company. I just wanted to show that mistakes can and will happen no matter what the products is or who the company is along with showing that customers do understand these mishaps.

With that said let me tell you my thoughts on this product. I have been using the moisturizing cream for a bit shy of a month now and it has made a difference to my skin. It feels smoother and more hydrated than it has in the past. I have also noticed my skin feeling and looking firmer. Of all the products I have tried and tested none of them actually firmed my skin but this one.

The Adovia Cream is made with dead sea minerals for a natural moisture balance. It is Hypoallergenic, and made with chamomile extract and aloe vera to calm and smooth your skin. It has a slight smell to it but a nice, almost soothing smell.

I stand by this product and do recommend to those who are looking for a day time moisturizer or a makeup base that helps to protect your face from sun damage while moisturizing and firming your skin.

InstaNatural Niacinamide Cream & Eye Gel Review

   I am a avid and loyal fan of InstaNatural. The company and it's workers are loyal to their customers and always aim to please. I always jump at the chance to work with them as I know they will make my experience a memorable one. Their products always look inviting and always do what they are intended to do.

   I was asked to test and review their Niacinamide Cream and as an added bonus they sent me their Youth Express Eye Gel to test as well.

  I have tried so many facial creams and eye gels in the last couple months and these two products are by far my top choices.
  The Niacinamide cream smells like a tropical citrus drink. It glides across my skin and leaves it feeling as soft as a baby's bottom. It states it is to hydrate, firm and plump. My skin feels so much more hydrated when I use it (which is daily) and I have seen a big difference in the firmness around my neck and cheek area. I will continue to use this product and support the company by purchasing more of their products. Tome this cream is a keeping indefinitely!

InstaNatural's Youth Express Eye Gel states it is too reduce puffiness, dark circles and sagging skin.
No matter how much sleep I get I always wake up with dark puffy eyes and most products are a quick fix that only lasts a half hour or so.
The InstaNatural Youth eye gel work far beyond 30 minutes. It is a "quick fix" product that continues to work to fix dark circles and puffiness. I always put this on after my InstaNatural Niacinamide Cream. It instantly lightens my dark circles and controls my puffiness. I have noticed after using the product for two full weeks every morning my dark circles get lighter and lighter and the puffiness is just about gone! I do highly recommend this product to all who suffer from the issues stated above.

Cleopatra's Choice Raw Shea Butter Review

   Cleopatra's Choice Raw Shea Butter is 100% pure African Shea Butter and contains rich vitamins A,E & F. It is raw and unrefined basically in is natural form.

   The shea butter I was sent was 1lb in weight and in a lovely natural ivory color. It does not have a smell to it as it is pure and unrefined. It is soft to the touch and it not at all greasy! The package says "Deep absorbing ~ Long lasting hydration" This is 100% true! I have been using this product for the last two weeks and found my skin to be super hydrated and no longer dry. I love the feel of it on my skin when I am applying it. The nice thing about Cleopatra's Choice Shea Butter I that is it not greasy and or gritty. I have tried different "pure" shea butters I the past and have found it to be some what gritty almost as if they added sand to it. That is not the case with Cleopatra's Choice. It is smooth and inviting.




  The thing I like the most about this product is that it is a "fair trade product produced by women subsistence farmers in Ghana, Africa" Meaning women in Ghana, Africa make the product and the company sells the product. When one of the shea butter products are sold the retail value is split up EQUALLY between the selling company, the packaging company and the women who make it. In return the women of Ghana Africa have a steady way to produce money for their families.

   The product itself is soft, hydrating and can be used for many different things. You can use the raw shea butter for hair health, skin hydration, chap stick and so many other things. The possibilities are endless! In my spare time I like to give Mani's and Pedi's and this product really comes in handy. I see a big difference in my clients hands and feet after using this product just a few times a week.

La Deessa Premium Anti-Aging Elixir & Giveaway

   Like I posted earlier I have been tying out many different Vitamin C serums.  I especially enjoy the La Deesa brand because is it not only smells great, hydrates your skin leaving it smooth but it also is made from certified organic materials and is NOT tested on our beloved animals.

Foxbrim Vitamin C+E Serum Review

I am not entirely sure where to begin with this product. Honestly I am far from happy. I have tried many products and for the most part and extremely happy. Not often do I have to right a review where I am disappointed in a product.

To begin  opened the bottle and too in a deep sniff. Boy oh boy that was this the wrong thing to do! I started coughing and gaging on the smell of cheap perfume. I nearly threw up on my living room rug.

I then mustered up the courage to actually try the product. So I used the handy dandy top and put some in the spout and noticed it was as thick as gravy. It plopped out of the tube in thick gooey drops. Making a very loud thud into the bottle each time it dropped from the spout.

At this point I am finished. I can not and will not put this product on my face. To me presentation is EVERYTHING and this product has it all wrong.  I can not allow myself to put something of this sort on my face.

I would not recommend this product to anyone. I do feel the company should take away tat sick smell and thin out the product by a whole lot. I do think this would improve anyone's experience with the product. As for right now I will stay away from the Foxbrim products.

Adovia Mineral Eye Gel Review

Adovia is a company that produces product made from Dead Sea Water. I was given the Mineral Eye Gel to test and review. The Mineral Eye Gel is to reduce puffiness, dark circle, wrinkles and lines around your eyes.

I have been using this product for about 20 days now and I only have good things to say about it. The Gel itself smells great. A soft gentle smell of lavender not at strong when compared to most products that are similar. The gel is pretty thick and you do not need to use a lot at one time.

I have seen a great difference in the dark circles under my eyes. Most nights I do not get much sleep. I will wake in the morning with extremely dark circles under my eyes along with a lot of puffiness. These problems have been reduced quite a bit after using the Adovia Mineral Eye Gel. I have also seen a big reduction in the wrinkles and lines under and around my eyes. The area around my eyes feel extra smooth and hydrated after using my Mineral Eye Gel.

Gillette Venus & Olay Razor Review

I recently tried the Gillette Venus & Olay razor. I love it! I normally use my husband's razors as I can not find a "female" razor that works well. Well guess what....  I just found one!

This razor has two Olay moisture bars on the top and bottom of the razor head. I am still indecisive about the moisture bars. After one use the top bar was completely one. It fell off after my first leg. The second bar is still going strong! The bars do tend to make your leg extra slippery! So please be careful. I did how ever get a very close and smooth shave.

I do love the grip handle. Not only is it a beautiful pink color but you can hold on to it with easy. Even though my legs were very slippery  did not loose grip nor cut myself at all. I do like not having to worry about cutting myself and ending up with scars. 

All in all I would recommend this product to new shavers and old. I feel Gillette did a wonderful job on this new product. I personally will continue to use and buy this product. I am very pleased with the end result.

Day by Day Beauty Review

   I recently was given Day by Day Beauty Vitamin C Serum free from Tomoson. Please note all of my opinions are of my own.


 Day by Day Vitamin C Serum is supposed to be a anti aging serum. I have to seen a difference in wrinkles on my face. I do notice softer smoother skin. My face is incredibly smooth.

 One think I do not like about the serum is the smell. It smells like alcohol strongly. It does not burn my eyes or anything it just has a strong alcohol smell.

 I do not thin I will continue to use this product only because of the smell. I do however like how it makes my skin feel super smooth.  I would recommend this product to those who do not mind the smell. I would be willing to try other product from the company a I do like their products.
